1.
At first light I felt something else
As I coiled up around myself
 Silent as the hunters breath
 And violent as the kill
A ring of smoke has left your lips
 Somewhere underneath the stars
But I’m blinded in my search for it ‘
Cause I’ve forgotten who you are I’ve got hundreds of thousands
 Thoughts in me howling
Even though you’re clear as Siberia I’ll never see that far Well the winter’s bite is deeper now But it lasts to see me spend
My ours making up for all
 I’ll never be again
If I knew a way to separate
What you ever thought of me
From the man who let you get away I could finally let you be I’ve got hundreds of thousands
 Thoughts in me howling
Even though you’re clear as Siberia I’ll never see that far

 I’ve got hundreds of thousands
 Thoughts in me howling
Everytime I tried saying my goodbye
You’d find me and hold so tight
Even though you’re clear as Siberia
 I’ll never see that far
2.
A song for the cynic
 A song for the critic
What we sing today, they will hear tomorrow
So every kid can play in the world that follows The past and the future
They dance for the new years
If even night and day can come together
Then maybe there’s a way to make it better Here’s a song for the times A song for the power
 That grows by the hour
Will history repeat the song of giants
Or will we all believe in one alliance? If you want to start a fire generations can admire
You’re gonna need a bigger pile
But if no one’s giving in
How can anyone begin making any changes in our time? So here’s a song for the times
 Are we on the way?
3.
Uhh, we’re weightless underneath
You whispered so light on your feet
Never saw what you could see Time flies nowhere, yet again
It’s changing the touch of your hand
Will we ever stand a chance? Where did you go
You’re out of my head Fools in feathers, lying there
Next to each other so close and sealed
No one saw who we became Lost recordings make their way
Went to the burrows and back
In time, for our legs to find their way But where did you go
 You’re out of my head
 How could you know
That I’ll never forget? Here, you said
As you put a feather in my hand
Feel this when you’re world is sinking through the sand Uhh, we’re weightless underneath
You whispered so light on your feet
Never saw what you could see Time flies nowhere, yet again
It’s changing the touch of your hand
Will we ever stand a chance? Where did you go
 You’re out of my head

about

SUNDAYS Performing 'Siberia', 'Song For The Times & 'Weightless Feathers' OUTER COASTS SESSIONS - Live at Holtug Chalk Quarry
June 2021

The Danish indie-folk outfit, SUNDAYS, released their sophomore album 'Inner Coasts' in March 2021, in the middle of the worldwide corona pandemic. With crumbled hopes of touring the record following its release, the group decided to focus on playing songs completely acoustic, and capturing them in the wild.

They teamed up with Mikael Larsen on camera, and drove to the sunny, desolate and mesmerizingly beautiful 'Holtug Chalk Quarry' by the coast of southeastern outskirts of Sealand.

Three songs were recorded, live and alive, with nature as the fifth element, and the group in their right one. The three songs originate from the 'Inner Coasts' album, and to accompany this ambitious and personal release, the only fitting title, would be 'Outer Coasts'.

'Outer Coasts' will be released digitally via Celebration Records & K&F Records on January 14, and prior to this, the single 'Weightless Feathers' will be out Dec 27.

about

SUNDAYS Copenhagen, Denmark

Sundays is a new spark from the Danish underground scene, centering North Jutlandic Magnus Jacobsen on vocals and guitar.

Intensity, melody and nerve are the keystones which manifests in the young songwriters universe, and with a live setup involving vast amounts of backing harmonics in an organic instrumentation, this is exactly what the spectator can expect.
